Delight your senses with an eye-opening trip to the spectacular 'Land of the Rising Sun'. Arrive in the eclectic capital city of Tokyo for 3 days of cultural immersion. Visit Hama-Rikyu Teien, the former private garden of an Edo period lord, attend a tea ceremony and take a boat cruise along the Sumida River. Visit Tokyo's old town then continue onto Omotesando to enjoy the high end fashion district. There is also a 'free' day in Tokyo for you to explore at your own pace.

Leaving Tokyo behind, you make your way to Hakone, the gateway to Mt Fuji and Fuji Hakone National Park. Stay in a traditional ryokan accommodation and savor the delights of classic Japanese cuisine with a multi course kaiseki meal.

Spend a full day exploring Fuji Hakone National Park. Ride the world's second longest cable car and take a cruise across Lake Ashinoko, admiring the spectacular landscape. Enjoy a relaxing soak in a hot spring or onsen for a final time before boarding the famous Shinkansen bullet train to Japan's cultural capital Kyoto, home to an astonishing 2,000 shrines and temples, including 17 World Heritage Listed Sights. Learn about Japanese culture in a beautifully restored machiya townhouse, where you will adorn a traditional kimono and participate in a tea ceremony.
